ABOUT
Origin Story
Alright, let's do this one last time. My name is Riley Elwell. I was bitten by the game dev bug, and for the last couple years, I've been on a mission to becoming a technical designer.
Growing up in California, I discovered my passion for tech through coding, robotics, and cybersecurity in high school. I then built a strong technical foundation at Oregon State University, earning a B.S. in Applied Computer Science (Simulation & Game Programming) and exploring tools like Unity. Now finding a passion for game design, I am currently studying at Futuregames in Stockholm, with the goal of expanding my knowledge and to build a strong portfolio.
Fun Facts
- In high school, I competed in VEX robotics and made it to the World Championships in 2019.
- I played Rocket League Esports at Oregon State for two years and peaked at GC1.
- I'm a completionist when gaming, getting 100% achievements feels too good.
- I am a BIG fan of the Spiderverse movies!
- Outside gaming, I love soccer, basketball, and hiking.
